Alex was brought up in a family where his life was filled with music and entertainment, his dad is a singer and musician and his late granddad was an entertainer and Alex has loved music since he was a small boy. At the age of 14 his music teacher saw a talent for singing in Alex and encouraged him to pursue the subject at school. He was invited to sing at school events and Alex admitted that he loved the music of Frank Sinatra and his collaboration with Nelson Riddle, producing Frank Sinatra’s most famous albums and singles like “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” which is one of Alex’s favourites. At 15 years of age Alex saw Ray Quinn singing swing on Saturday night television and realised that young men could sing and enjoy this genre of music. Alex’s dad bought him a Michael Bublé album and Alex was so excited and inspired by David Foster, record producer and arranger of most of Bublé’s music that he was hooked. Combined with his passion for music in general this was all that was needed to kick start his career in Music.
Shortly after his discovery of Michael Bublè he started to model himself on everything about Michael’s performance: the Vocal Talent, the confident, relaxed performance, the intimate interaction with his audience as well as Michael’s brand of humour. Alex took all this in and as a result created his own Michael Bublè Tribute. At just 16 years of age he was noticed by a friend of his dad who offered Alex work in the Blackpool area and he spent the last two summers entertaining audiences in the hotels and cabaret bars of the north of England, then he was spotted by Anne Barrett and the rest is history, he is a very talented young man who is going to take the light entertainment industry by storm.
